White paper
The technology metrics your board can actually trust.
ShipReady Metrics turns the real signal in your engineering, cloud, and security systems into ten explainable scores — and never shows a number it can't prove.
No fake data, ever.
Most dashboards fabricate confidence: when the data isn't there, they fill the gap with a plausible number. We refuse. ShipReady Metrics grades only the dimensions a connected source actually measures, and marks everything else “not measured yet — connect a data source,”naming the exact connector required. Even inside a score, a sub-factor the source can't see is omitted, not back-filled. A metric you can't trust is worse than no metric at all.
Ten scores, one number leaders can defend
Nine domain scores plus the composite ShipReady Score (0–100), each with weighted subscores, plain-language explainability, and prioritized recommendations — computed by a pure, deterministic engine, so a score always traces back to the inputs that produced it.

From raw signal to a defensible score
Every source flows through the same path — connect, validate live, encrypt, sync, normalize, score, present. A connector becomes “connected” only after its credentials are validated against the live provider; nothing is stored on a failed validation. GitHub is proven end-to-end today; GitLab, Atlassian, AWS, Azure, GCP, and AI-spend are built on the same adapter framework and shown as “requires setup” until a real account validates them.
Built to be trusted with the keys
- Hard tenant isolation via Postgres row-level security — a member of one org can never read another's data.
- Connector credentials encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), service-role-only, never returned to a browser or written to a log.
- Append-only audit logging of every sensitive action, exportable for compliance evidence.
- We keep less than we read — scores are stored as aggregate numbers; your source code is never stored.
